#1: Do you (the reader) believe that the Bible is inerrant and infallible (always true in everything it asserts and cannot be wrong on any point)?

#2: If "Yes" to #1, do you think that Genesis 6 refers to angels?

Thanks! The results of these simple questions will allow me to present a paper more easily to all of the respondants.

1. Yes. If any part is false, then we are free to invent our own God based on what we choose to accept, and our starting point is a fallible God, because His book needs an errata.

2. No. The 'sons of God' are the children of Adam, and the 'daughters of men' are the daughters of the other people around at the time.

(edit) I should add that they cannot be angels - there is no marriage in heaven according to Jesus and therefore no sex.

Yes. With this caveat: as originally given. Copies, translations, etc, can contain errors (but nothing I consider significant enough to affect the whole).

Yes.

Moved to another topic. Easier this way, and less messy.

What different sorts of angels are there ? I presume being able to father 'giants' we are claiming they are supernatural beings ?

well i wasn't meaning angels, archangels, cheribum or anything

i was just meaning, angels that didn't rebel against God (the 2/3's) compared to those that rebeled with satan and were can't down (1/3)
