Ok I was wandering what all games this crew plays. Reason being im wandering what they thought of main stream games. Like on a scale of 1-10 on how good it was.

Simcity 3000 Unlimited: I would give it higher then a 10 becase it is only the best sim in my mind ever made. Loved it! The graphix where suporb. It also was easy to control. You only need a mouse so I couldnt get any easyer.

Unreal: I would have to give it a 5. What they posted on it for minnim requirments was way off. I had over at the time and it didnt work at all and I had to find a patch online that berly made it work. I wish I could return it but they wont let me becase I opened the package. This seems rediculas to me. If the game wasnt tested right then why should I have to suffer for there miss haps? It however works fine on my new cpu but still im frustrated with it. The game play was fine and the graphix were great to me. It even had a bit better story line then quake.

Black&White: This would deffently be a 3 game. It gets three points for its three good points witch are... Great AI, Wanderful rendering, and interesting story line. This game has a big downside thow. You have to play as a god. Now thats normaly not that bad of a thing in some mest up story line like this. I loved Populiss the old game. Still the prob here is that it is easy to make your character Evil but it is almost inpossibul to make your character Good. So I dont play it anymore becase I cant be the good guy. I always have to turn evil. Oh and another draw back that really hacked me off is that they only have a server for multiplayer and you have to use only there server witch bites.

Shadow Warrior: I would have to give it a 6 now. It used to be top of the line but its not anymore. I would give it a 7 but it had nuddity in it and a bit of language. Ya I see that on TV but they didnt have to add that to the game. Still it has a perental control witch is really grand!

Diablo II: I used to play the first one so this is a very nice upgread. I would rate it at a 7 becase of some of its big draw backs. Alot of people yell its demonic but I have to tell you that Doom II was alot more demonic if you want to call it that. Also if you want to see a game that is really much closer to demonic play Bolders Gate II witch I dont own but have played a little. Anyways the game had crudy story line for something that is supost to be an RPG. The serching around for Items is about the only reason to play it. Also I was very suprised when I saw how they drew angels. It was deffently not the norm and was very cool. The angels wings where made of pure light and it could use its wings to grab hold of things. Also in this one they didnt make you stick a stone into your head at the end. So thats a plus for story line. You actuly get to go and kill the bone heads and crush the stones. Still I wouldnt recomend this game for anyone under the age of 18.

Heroes of Might and Magic: I would give this game a 9. It had good graphix for the main map and they could have done better. Other then that alot of the other renderings are suppurb. The Castle team is neet with the Angels being abile to reserct other characters and they get a cool sword. Then the other races for the most part are interesting as well. The only other draw back to this game is that if you play aginst the Devel race you have to take over there castle. This bites cuz you cant just distroy the castle you have to make sure no one takes it back over. To bad they didnt have a pillige option like in the old WarLords game.

Shogo: A deffinit buy the game thing. I give it a 10! The story line was halaries to me and the game play was great. You could be in Mecks and get great equipment and even turn into a vihical and drive. As a person you could find this little toy that was cat. You could squezz it and it would say, "Magic Claw" Or something or other like that. It would make people cry if you squezzed it to much around them.

Thife: This game got old quick. If you wanted to play without killing anyone you couldnt. So you couldnt be a real profeshinal. Thats why I got board of it fast. I insisted on playing it on its hardist difficulty and trying to beat it without killing anyone. I couldnt get past one guy on level 2 I think it was. Then the story line really bit. You are the bad guy so to speak. So the game promots self surving ideals. I would give this game a 3. Was good idea in a way but poorly done.

Starcraft: Would have to give this a 9. It wasnt well ballenced when it came to the 3 races. One race in the game was the very best and it wasnt the humans. So that bit cuz I think humans are the greatist ever! God sent His son to die for us we must be something pritty cool then if you ask me. Other then that the game play was great and multi-player was even better.

I will stop there ^_^ I colect games practicly but thows are some of the more resent ones I have played on the CPU. Playstation and Nintendo are other sis s that I play on. Ops wife is up have to go.

You peeps be blessed

Hello my friend Angel.

I'll post a link to my site that rates games (almost only PC games) and then a review site where I'm an almost-absent staff writer.

Nice to see your still alive mate! I checked your site. Deffently a famly oriented site. The other site is alot to take in at once. One of my big qustions to alot of people has been if games are to be viewed in such ways then why not movies, music, and other such midia even books. People change there openions fast when you ask them that. I often wander ^_^ Still to me it is up to the person what is exeptibul to them. I grew up with nudity in games sence I was about 7-8 but I dont want my kids to. If I have kids. Still some call nudity art Now adays not much of it is art. Its there for sex not for the admeration of the buaty of the human body or to set a mood. Like that thinker guy that is naked. I think he is funny looking and good for a luagh. I could never think well naked so thats why it makes me laugh. Most girls I know dont think men can even think well when they have cloths on SO I guess thats a prob. Well im going to go back to looking at your site!

That brings up another note im wanderin about. Who all here is fumilar with Anime? If you think you are how much do you know about it. I mean are you a Poki-Dragon Ball person or do you know all about it? Do you know about the Anime title that came out and was the whole Bible done in Anime? Alot of people I know are crazed that its evil. I personly think its like any other midia it could be used for good and bad. Hentai is bad without a dobt!

Dragon Ball Z has no real story to it the first "Dragon Balls" epsodes where great and very funny. They didnt focus on fighting. Sailor Moon wasnt all that bad but I would make sure my kids dont get all nut cased like some parents let there kids go with PokiMon.

Still now adays it would seem that parents pay no attention to what their kids do anymore. If they did you wouldnt have to tell a perent "Duke Nukum has nuddity and sexual content in it" and have the perent go "OH NO REALLY THAT CANT BE TRUE!!" Ya way to go no clue parent. Lets face it wether the parent likes games or not or kiddy cartoons or anything for that matter they should be there with their kids paying attention to whats going on.

Ya know maybe I should luarn to hit enter and put some spaces in heheh. I will go back up and do that :P There that should be easyer to read. Hay Krylar I know its about 3-4 years down the road befor my game gets done but when its done do you think you will still have this web page up? I was thinking of putting in some links to cool places in the game cd.

I haven't played all the games you list, except these:

Unreal (Tournament) - you gave it a 5, but I'd give it a 9. Runs awesome on my machine, is a blast to play. I've played this more than any other game I own.

B&W: Played it for about 15 minutes. Couldn't get into it.

Shadow Warrior: 7, but graphics are a bit dated now. A blast when it was new.

Diablo II: I would agree with your 7.

Thief: I played Thief 2, not 1. I'd give it an 8 - a lot of fun, and I enjoyed accomplishing objectives *without* blowing everything and everyone to bits. Great concept. A few cutscenes didn't work though, maybe a buggy CD.

A few others I thought I'd mention:

Deus Ex: Seems to be hugely popular, but I had trouble getting into it although I gave it an honest try (twice). I give it a 4.

System Shock 2: Took me a couple tries to really get into it, but once I did, awesome! At least a 9.

Carmageddon TDR 2000: Yummy. 9.

I don't have much time to play games anymore, but...

Thief.... 7 Original, had a great time sneaking around.

Starcraft... 8 Good story, well balanced, theme slightly unoriginal

Diablo II.... 2 A sad excuse for a RPG, no story, VERY limited classes, redundant. Got bored soon.

System Shock 2...8 Excellent game, Good blend between FPS and RPG, good story.

Homeworld... 10 Best RTS ever cool theme, involving story, excellent gameplay

Baldur's Gate Series... 10 Best RPGs ever. Different sub quest for different chr classes. Excellent story, good voice overs. Some hints of humor.

Fallout, Fallout II... 9 Second Best RPGs. Lost of skills, turn based, story not as good as BG.

Unreal.... 7, lots of levels, original theme, cool music

Not very indepth ratings.

Well, I've played a lot of games and most of the genres out there.

My favorites go:

1. Might and Magic Series (rpg) great great fun
2. Heroes of Might and Magic Series (turn based strategy) great great fun
3. Wizardry 8 (rpg)just started playing but very promising so far
4. Quake 3 (fps) good, but very violent. (okay for me but for the youth?)
5. Majesty (sim) also loads of fun and addictive

No, neither of my games are on the list, but after making a game, you don't have much love of playing it!

If you had of asked me a month ago I would have said ...

Half-Life/Counter-Strike: 10 (why has nobody yet mentioned the game of the millenuim! )
Thief: 8
Tomb Raider I: 8
Tomb Raider II/III: 4
Unreal: 7
Quake III: 7

... but recently I have just not felt like playing anything that involves killing or anything else God has commanded us not to do in the "real" world.

So now all I play is ...

Colin McCrae Rally 2: 9
Grand Prix Legends: 8

I hate cheets makes the game boring for me. Love challenges. Guess thats why im writeing the story. I normaly hate to read books but now im writeing one. Go figure ey?

Both of these were released onto the PS2 and I love 'em both, really good

I can't even say which out of the 2 is best, they're so different but each great

UNREAL is a superb 3D FPS - marvellous all action - fabbo graphics - adrenalin pumping game, too much

Baldur's gate is FAIRLY recent on the PS2 and starts off so well, brilliant slow pace to begin with but such an awesome RPG.... it's all that I'd read about and more

when you get subterranean - the game goes ULTRA, you've started for REAL

my own personal TOP classic game is X - COM

anyone know it ? it's an ageing move by turn RPG but the strategy and team work needed just cracks me up, it's so good

I loved X-Com! I like the first the best and would classify it as strategy, not RPG.
