So I've been thinking a bit about the flow of things for the CCN-Team stuff (like that name???), and here's what I've got thus far:

1) Each CCN-Team will have a team-owner who will have administrative tools that allow:
a) Creating a team-page builder that will be housed on the CCN with news, latest posts, login, and a team-logo. (going to keep this graphically small to save on space).
b) Adding/Removing users to/from the team/board-area
c) Granting/Removing moderator control to their board-area

2) User-Profiles (check the new User Profile Fields thread for details on what's in this) will be searchable and all that. Plus when a user joins a team, their profile will be automatically updated.

Anything else you guys can think of for this?

Thanks!

Hi Krylar,

Your ideas help solve problems working in groups. Half the trouble is just finding a place to discuss things. I personally do not like the idea of running a bb to do this, as it takes alot of work to maintain. Communicating by email works to a degree. Ah...communicating takes alot of work also. Of course, if you want to present stuff, to upload/download files, etc. thats even more work... for one person.

The problem which I have experienced in the past is having people in a group who are too busy earning a living or too busy working on their own projects. However, I suppose that if everyone within a group were to help, these ideas of yours can potentially be very productive and useful.

Best wishes,

St. Cheez

HAHA I get to use that mad face again. Someone please set us up the bomb!

Ok enuff of that. Anyways I was sitting here reading for the fun of it and noted what was happening in here. I myself have the fun task of being project lead. I dont know how I ended up with the pozition but here I am. I will have to admit that keeping in contact with some people is a problom. Personly I think it is a lack of commitment. People are commited to alot of diffrent things. Then when someone just asks you to join in on something and help out to finnish something to minnister with they start then disapear (Run on sentins I know that Right now not including myself there are only 2 people on my team that are commited to finnishing the game, quality, minnistry, and team work. Finding people that are flexibul is a hard thing too. Most people want there way and only there way. The people who work with me are very flexibul. So in the blue of all this babling I would like to say that Yes this is a great idea and yes it is hard to get the right people together. Still whats wrong with giveing it a try =)

Fight the good fight peeps

Angel,
Are you saying I'm not commited and flexible?? Maybe I should do some spell checking for you! That would be Tim's project! Just kidding. I'll have to check out your CCN project though!

I'm interested in reading Krylar's other post now! Thanks for all your hard work Krylar!

I appreciate all the feedback, gang. It's really going to help form this site into something that you should find really helpful. I wish I could do this full-time so I could get this out the door quick for you, but rest assured I'll work as quickly as I can.

Thanks!
