Hey all I just registered here. I am glad to become a part of this community. To be honest my week has been terrible, and this has helped out a lot. I look forward to working with you all soon.

I've noticed a lot of humbling things headed my way this week too. I wonder what the deal is? Could be because it's spring time and I'm just feeling a tad lazy...I dunno.

Well, anyways, WELCOME ABOARD! Things will get better for us all, I'm sure

OK since my last post it has gotten worse--I had an $86 late fee for a tux I rented for Prom. I'm a coder, C++/DirectX/OpenGL. I Don't really have time to do games with school, but I enjoy playing them.

I just thought I would bring back an ancient topic just like a well known contributor of this forum.

PS Am I the oldest person here? you tell me yours and I will tell you mine!

Dude, that is so cheap. You didn't even have anything to say about the topic you brought back.

I'm 18, turning 19 next month.

Excellent AmazingJas. I am 32 today, it is good to chat to someone else that is as old as I am :-). By bringing back an old thread, especially one as mundane as this, I wanted to emphasise something. That there are so many keen people who join us that simply don't contribute after their first few days. Since my first visit I have been hooked on this site, I may not come here every day but I am hooked. How can we all keep newbies here?

Hi D-SIPL,

I check CCN most times when I am online. It may take me a couple of days to reply though. Sometimes I don't have an answer. Maybe a couple of days later a good reply will come to me.

LOL, D-Sipl, you are right about the crazy part. Before joining, I read a few posts that were particularly heated, and almost clicked the close button.

Silicon Chippy, your generosity in helping people is really encouraging, and I'm not just saying that because your almost as old as me Happy Birthday! But seriously, did you get any good pressies?

The boards have been a bit slow recently. No topics that have really been really really interesting, and not a lot of computer talk going on (i suppose i make up for that on IRC).
