Hey gang! Jesus is Lord, here!

God opened up an opportunity to be a CA volunteer at the GDC
in San Jose, CA. It was great! Many souls were
impacted with various truths from the Word of God.

It's great to be "in the world, but not of the world"!

As a result, many heard and saw God's word in action. Few admitted
to being a Christian in the closet, and few were Christians, but then
turned their back on following Jesus.

The atmosphere was different this year, said one of the head CA managers.
People wanted to volunteer for more work, there wasn't much strife among
the workers, and things flowed more smoothly than in years past. It was
definately the best year of hosting a game developers conference.

Well no wonder!?! When I got back home, I found out that a few churches
were bathing the conference, and the souls that worked the conference in prayer. Not to mention, the presence of the Lord was there too...

God is good! And there's MORE, friends! More of God to be had!

Heya!

That's great news! I'm glad you got to be part of that...sound like it was a good time. I was in the area at the time of the conference, but we were so busy working on presentations at EA that I was unable to attend

Maybe next year!

Hi Joe.

a CA is short for "Conference Assistant"
We be the gophers that go for stuff behind the scenes so that
the conference goes smoothly.

Krylar...

Maybe next year indeed!

However:

There's another game developers conference going on in September..
this one is more hard-core than at the GDC. The info can be found
at http://www.xgames3d.com/xgdcmain.htm

I'm not sure if I'm going to make it... for I plan to be in
school by then... But we'll see what the Lord has in store.
