You people are way too advanced for me. I know virtually nothing about this stuff. I am very interested though. If you know a link to a site that teaches about this subject, let me know.

Hiya!

If you really want to get started in game coding, you should consider checking out Blitz Basic. It's MUCH easier to use and will get you some amazing results while you learn the, uh, basics. There are over ten tutorials on this site to help you with BB, and the BB messageboards have a lot of info too.

If you're interested in Web development, just start with some simple HTML and move on from there. There are a bunch of tutorials on this site that help you get started with HTML, and you can find tons of sites dedicated to teaching HTML. (Best one I know of is: http://www.pagetutor.com)

Thanks for joining up and feel free to ask questions!

Just gaming for me. I leave web design to the experts. Please post a link to a great site that teaches the basics.

Writing a game is beyond most people - try demos instead. Demos don't have to do anything except look cool.

If you know any C, have a look at http://nate.scuzzy.net/ for excellent OpenGL tutorials.

Good luck
