i just finished making a percent calculator in vb.net, all you should need is to have the .net framework to run it. here's the link:

...it's really simple, but if you can't remember the formula for percentages it should come in handy .

the formula is a proportion :

x z
- = -
y 100

so if you wanted to know what percentage 20 is of 50 then

20 x
- = -
50 100

resolves to 40%

I downloaded it and was going to critique your source code, but couldn't find any in the download. If you'd like me to look it over, I'd be happy to do so -- I'm a big .net fan.

Great job starting to learn this stuff! I take it you did this with VB.Net 2005 Express?
