I have no idea, I suggest contacting your ISP for help.

BTW, how are you posting here if you can't get on?

If you cant get to any online webpage you might as well start at the physical layer of the OSI model and move up (if you have no idea what that is just follow my next few lines of text)

1st - Check your physical layer. Are cables plugged in? Is your modem connected to a router and then put through into the network (if not you probably will need a router). Check all ethernet or cable *shudders* plugs. A quick way to make sure they are talking is to just look at the lights on the back of your NIC card. Another big part of this is the cable connections. Unless the networking devices you have are auto-sensing you need to adhere to the folloing connections:
Modem - > Router Straight-through CAT 5 cable
Modem - > Switch/HUB/NIC Straight-through CAT 5 cable
Router - > Switch/HUB/NIC Crossover CAT 5 cable
Switch/HUB - > Switch/HUB Crossover CAT 5 cable
Switch/HUB - > NIC Stright-through CAT 5 cable

Note: If you have a modem but no router the reason your computer wont work is because a off-the-shelf modem will only allow 1 ip address for your entire network. You need a router so you can use a special thing called NAT and PAT (Port and Network Address Translation) in order to get onto the intar-web.

2nd - Restart your computer. If this doesnt solve your problem shut everything off and turn on in these steps:
- Modem
(wait 10 or so seconds)
- Router
(wait another 10 or so seconds)
- Switch or Hub *shutters*
(again wait for a couple of seconds)
- Computers

If this doesnt fix anything reply back. And if anyone spots any errors in my explantion please post (I'm still a little shaky when it comes to the correct cable types to use between devices)
