there have been a lot of new faces popping up lately
so i just want to take a moment and say welcome, and we appreciate your new life to this community.

i encourage you in your endeavours and dreams gamewise, i know along the way there will be some dissalusionments etc, but keep on keeping on, making games can be rewarding, start small, there is also a very useful spiritual context when starting out, which is quite important in the game context (as games take a well organised team and a lot of work, not just the most amazing ideas ) and that is serving another man's vision.. I would recommend any newcomer, to pray to God for direction of them, and be willing to put aside your own ideas and visions for a while, and find an established project and team to join and bless and work together with, so that some christian games can be finished, and more people can add quality to them. There is also much blessing choosing to come under another Godly vision, submitting yourself to others leadership - remember the scripture about being faithful in little, God's main work in us is building our character, not what we do, and serving a Godly project (in accordance with God's direction in your life, if he would rather you be doing something completely different then listen to his small quiet voice ) is a good start both in the spiritual aspects of life, and the praciticalities and disciplines of building a game

God Bless,

Karl

you know, this idea will sound a little communist perhaps.... it would be nice if there were 2 or 3 big projects on the site, and the members picked one to work on. Why have a bunch of people with the same dream of making Christian games running in 13 different directions with little projects, when we could combine efforts and pump out one awsome project at a time. Helping people with something that is truly blessed is just as rewarding, if not more, than serving yourself!

Is there a place on this site where it shows people's projects and the help they need? I know you could search the forums but it would be nice to have a page that had a help wanted list. Then maybe people would start coming out of the framework to help.
