i was wondering if anyone had any experience with hex editors, and if they could give me some good sites to check out? i actually have an idea for a program that will be pretty sweet if it works. i'd go into more detail but i don't wanna give my ideas away, cause they are far and few between! :-). anywho...

thanks for the info. correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't gameshark just a hex editor of gaming systems? i noticed that the codes from the gameshark also work on the generic version as well and all seemed to be in hex. just a little food for though i suppose. yep, it's good to be a geek, even better be a born again one! :-D

I use one of the greatest file managers ever, and it includes a simple hex editor.. It's called EDC (Easy DOS Commander). Excellent for those pre-Windows installation setups. It's always on my bootdisk.
