He had strep throat--and I just got a call this morning he got admitted to the ER---apparently he developed a blood clot in his lung---he said they weren't sure but they think it might have been the amoxacillin that he was on for the strep throat---we are going to the hospital as soon as he is given a room---please pray for him I will keep all who are interested updated as soon as I know more!

Thanks I said Holy Crap to express my shock---I still can't believe that something as routine as strep throat (it is bad, but live-throug-able) erupted--thank goodness they caught it but man he is doin' rough right now--we just saw him in the er--he is on like 3 nitro-glycerine pills and is doing a stress test on a treadmill.

UPDATE: Gene is home now, he has some weird thing (can't remember the name) where the membrane sack around his heart got a viral infection---from what I understand he is on hardcore meds now and could be away from his day job for as long as 2 weeks--we are going to go hang with him a little bit tomorrow---we think it might be related to his strep throat, but the doctor I guess seemed confident he will be ok thank goodness.

Thanks guys Trev and I are going over to his house sometime today to check up on him and show him the sword Trev is making him--he is going as Kadaj for Halloween (from Advent Children) and I am doing Loz (with gauntlent and gun-sword) and Trev is doing Cloud (with big sword)--hopefully Gene will feel good enough to goof off! We will definitely get video of us in costume and make a TKTV episode for it!
