Man, in Japan they are way more promotive of the indy game dev scene---publishers there actually let gamers use their characters for indy projects under the guise of fan art! Man I wish we were more like that!

 		Yeah, and the publishers would have a chance at a possible income if one of the FanGames gets far, with taking a portion of the sales.

 		no lie dude--that is truly sad--hopefully people on this side of the Pacific will one day wake up and make changes to encourage art!
