Hello ladies and gents! I'm launching a new site: http://www.christiangameservers.com

The purpose of this site is to provide a safer online gaming environment by hosting games with moderators and swear/gore filters if applicable.

We'd like to rent dedicated dual core severs and we need to capture feedback to find out if there is a demand for this service and if people are willing to pay a small monthly fee to help offset cost. In return they would get to choose what games/maps/mods we host.

Please check out the site/forum and if you're interested please join our mailing list.

Sounds really cool! I"m not entirely sure if its necessary though. I mean, it sounds alot like something that there are just so many other stuff like it (not necessarily Christian) that it would never get alot of notablility.

Somewhat like free game sites that host free games, there's like thousands of them, and to have a christian one, seems rather pointless as few people would see it unless you were able to get some good advertising like mofunzone.com.

it's not really a financial venture, but to allow clean, family-friendly (well sorta, I'm gonna be on it...) gaming. (also being an extension of Christ Centered Game Reviews)
It's also sort of a community thing. in my opinion, becoming too big would be bad. But, that's just me. think about it:
We can make a persistent Freelancer world where you sign up and party up with your friends from here or solo your char as you wish. We all know we want to be HanClinto's wingman.
It could even be used as a dedicated server for Eternal War: Shadows of Light. get our EW championships going.

It'll be free for the most part, but if you want to be able to choose games that get hosted, etc it's a nominal fee.
