I constantly hear about the "persecuted church in China". Great. As I'm trying to pray more, I'll remember them. But what about the Church in North Korea? I know they're struggling just as hard as the Chinese Church, and probably harder. Does anyone have any information concerning them?

I don't know about them---although I think in South Korea (I think in Seoul) Asia's largest church is located-----and totally side note I know the Christian cultural center of Japan is Nagasaki---I got a cross from there that has a cool dragon design on it and says 'Decide Cross'----maybe tho it is easier to get info on China because China is more accessable by the world---people actually travel to China and the country does business with other countries and, for all the oppresive crap their government does, it still probably isn't as bad as North Korea----I mean entire families have been torn apart by that and haven't talked since the DMZ zone was set up so to get any info out of that place must be like pulling teeth.

This article should shed some light on the issue:

http://www.canada.com/national/nationalpost/news/story.html?id=5af3e8a1-30e d-4726-9643-e04eec4e3879

first line:
"A U.S government report says North Korea is raising religious persecution to the same heights as ancient Rome."

and another:
"The mere possession of a Bible can bring a death sentence, while attending a secret underground church service can result in gruesome public executions."

Yikes, pray for the Christians in North Korea.

that wouldn't surprise me ,if i didn't believe in GOD, i would be extremly surprised that there are even Christians alive in north korea.

that's like one of the most communist nations ever.

Hmm. I'm sorry to see that. I will definitely try to pray for them every day.

voice of the martyrs. they're all about the persecuted church, and they're not limited to one nation.
