The original, saving message of gospel has been fading away. We must be sure to preach the gospel of salvation and not some light and twisted version of it.
Here is a intro article for series of articles about gospel:

yes... i read the bible every night, and you have ot wonder: why don't we just go around as the deciples did? I mean, its proably possible... but NOBODY these day's will let you stay with them... and it costs money to rent a hotel, motel, or (possible) hostel room... *tisk tisk* i guess the world jsut isn't waht it used to be...

But Realm Master, we don't know who does like the apostoles.

I hope and believe that there are people who has left everything for God and God provides whatever they need because that's what Jesus said in the Bible.

Actualy.. I dont think that we would need to rent hotels or motels.. during jesus's 3 year ministry he claimed not to have a place to lay his head.. something like, you wish to follow me, the sun of man has not even a place to lay his head.. Theres also a guy who carries a big cross around and evangelises.. he just gets invited into peoples homes during his stay, which the bible says something about.. in the same passage it says if they dont repent brush the dust of your feet as you leave..
Not only that but if youve read anything about Gospel for Asia.. GFA.. they missionaries live lives similar to that every day.http://www.gfa.org/gfa/
Casting out demons and stuff.

I think in America things are just different.. we got a church on every corner (Praise the lord). And even though this country is falling where still a christian nation..

Yeah the Gospel is always under attack. But it certainly does seem as if in these days that there has been an effort to water down the Gospel. People are told that when you have faith and believe in Christ that your life will be great, that you'll basically tip-toe to heaven through the tulips. Some even go as far and say that you won't experience sickness, or you will be loaded with money. I find that extremely dangerous. Jesus said that the world will hate us. If we are preaching the Word of God and staying true to His Word, then we WILL suffer persecution from the enemy and the world. But Jesus promises to never leave us in these times. It's in times like those that we learn much and gain a stronger and more intimate relationship with God.

I have witnessed some STRONG Christians that after receiving Christ, abandon the faith a few years later because of hard times or pride. Once someone (let's say Joey) told me something along these lines: "If Jesus doesn't make my life better, then He's of no use to me!" In a way that does make a little since, but the fact of the matter is that Joey says that in wanting her businesses, relationships, financial problems, etc.. to be fixed because she's a believer. Has Joey heard the True Gospel?

Yeah, I have heard some interesting stories about missionaries as well. But as far as if we need to rent hotels and all of that. I think that first off, we should be faithful witnesses where we are. Once, I had determined that I was going to go to a country somewhere, and be a missionary for Jesus. But I learned that that would not happen unless I started being all that I could be where I was. God says this to me today, "Hey Brandon.. it's gotta start at home kiddo. If you can't ask your neighbor to church then don't think you're going over seas buddy."

God wants to use each and everyone of His children in a special way. If we want to be successful servants and witnesses for Jesus then we must start where we are right now!

I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation of everyone who believes...

Yeah and the apostoles did face lot of hate while they suffered for Christ.

Then is another miss understanding of gospel when some people and denominations practice physical violence to them self, because we are to suffer for gospel. But only when needed, not that we should make our self suffer. The world has plenty of people to take care of that, I am sure.

But we should not be fooled to be under persecution described in the Bible when some one mocks us because we believe in God. It's part of that but only the beginning because Jesus says that we will be thrown into jails and brought to court and that's when we really are persecuated.

I have read from some Christian forums where people are like "Oh how terrible I was persecuted today when they insulted our faith with their words" - which of course is bad thing but they did not hear those insult because of their own gospel but because of the real gospel which they don't have much to do with.
This is what troubles me because pagans around the world pay respect to popes passing away while the Bible says that the world will hate us.
