Interesting. I'd be careful with stories about finding the Ark - I personally don't think it could've survived that long without decaying away. But then again, who knows? Anything is possible. ------------------ Switch Mayhem now available! Get it here |

History & Archaeology have always been big hobbies for me, and I have always been interested in Biblical archaeology. It would be interesting to see the Ark proven true or false once and for all. |

Hey there. I read a bit about historical evidence about Noah's ark. I personally think the ark (if it parts still remain) is in a mountain range in the Iraq/Iran area. The mountain in Turkey has only been called Ararat has only been named that for about 600 years. However, there is a mountain range in the Iraq/Iran area that was named Ararat hundreds of years before. Just a thought. In Christ, ------------------ |

Of course Noah's Ark is real! I made a 3d game about it below! It is biblical scale and lots of rooms for the animals and things. http://www.noahsadventures.com See the awards page. The seculare shareware industry likes it. ------------------ |

Well done Kristel. May I inquire as to which 3D engine you used for that? |

Hi John, If I can help in any way in your A6 game-making, then let me know. So, notice how BIG Noah's Ark really was. Some good critics of the Ark story, say that Noah might not have had enough room for all the animals, but you can see that it was a very, very big structure indeed. You can see from one end of the Ark down to the other and if you walk and not run to the other end, then you can see how big it really was. Too bad I had to sacrifice some 3d graphics quality, in order to make it a small 18 meg download. Hehe :0 ------------------ |

Use procedural textures? I've seen some very good results for wood grains. |
kristel Junior Member Posts: 7 From: Sacramento, Ca., USA Registered: 06-04-2004 |
I should have used better wood textures for the Ark, but I did not think that the little kiddies would care that much. The goal was to make a "God-centered" game that kids could download for FREE. Either rich or poor and all over the world. Quite frankly, the physics programming in the "Adventure" game really tired me out. I ran out of gas on the project and was in danger of quiting it altogether. So, instead of quiting, I just finished up what I had done. lol The adventure game has bowling, horseshoes and soccer as mini-games. Hey guys, did you know I get downloads from the middle east? ------------------ |

Your next game could be about the adventures of David; collecting sheep, batteling soliders, kicking Goliaths butt, it would be fun! ------------------ |

Excellent idea Mack! 2 years ago I was thinking of making one of the following: A Noah's Ark game I only chose the Noah game, because of its low violence concept. So, now it's time to make Michaelangelo's David come back to 3d life! ------------------ |
ArchAngel Member Posts: 3450 From: SV, CA, USA Registered: 01-29-2002 |
lol. I've noticed that lot of the christian gaming community doesn't like violent content. 3d michaelangelo's david... reminds me of this project where these guys did a total 3d model of David. with lasers and all. ------------------ |
