Hi everybody, I'm a brand new member.
a little about myself.
my name is Alvin and i live in Orlando, fl.
i'm a Full Sail Real World Education student
currently studying Game Design. in my fourth month.
God somehow directed me to this website and i'm so glad You guys existed.
Just the day before, I was wondering what am i doing studying Game Design.
I didnt even know that the game Design program i am attending is all about programming(coding). I thought it was more art related since it's title was "Game design". So i pray to God and for Him to lead the way. For him to give me strength to have faith and he will show me the way. I would NEVER have imagined, but i want to be a Christian game coder(designer). That never cross my mind for some reason but now I know the Lord's plan for me. Thanks to God and Christian Coders Network.

And also to let you guys know Orlando has the best
christian radio station in the world.
There's no commercials and its 100% listener supported
24 hours 7 days a week. I'm letting u guys know that because
you can listen to it live online at http://www.z883.org/
just click on Z-live and choose your access speed.
Hope you guys enjoy the music and spread the word on this station
because it does miracles. it always plays the right song at
the right time to lift us up when we need it.

Hey Alvin,

I was thinking of going to Full Sail, chatted quite a bit to Carma Beagle, but decided not to go this year.

How is the course, i heard the first 3 months are fairly relaxed then it just goes crazy and you have hardly any time to yourself?

I'll be in Florida next may on holiday!

Anyways welcome to CCN bud, hope you like it as much as all of us do!

ya, that sounds about right. except if your in game design. After the second month Things go hectic right away. I cant believe i'm in on my fourth month already. it seems like yesterday. On my third month I started C++ and Entertainment Business. These two classes take up 6 days a week. 3 days are 4 hours each, the other 3 days are 8 hours each. total of 36 hours of learning and not including Home work(The homework is just reading and studying usually, but still takes up lots of time). If you want to get an A, forget about social life, otherwise u still have sometime for your self.
Overall, this school is Great.

that radio station "Positive hits" is top notch! really, it's very nice, listening to a US radio station in UK is strange but it IS as alvin describes above, the DJ doesn't say much does he? it's jingles and CLASS music, that's it, but good to listen to

BTW alvin how is it viable without commercials?

(you can listen to it while posting on CCN! wehay! works like a dream)

The station usually have a yearly share-a-thon event where they let everyone listening know the amount needed to keep the radio running for the next year, then everyone calls in making a pledge. its costs $1440 us dollars to run the station for one day. and lots of people does what we call a Z-Day sponsor. while others just pledge a one time amount for what ever God calls them to pledge. there are also monthly pledges too.

the amount requested is always over exceeded. Praise God! The stations uses all the extra money on billboards and other stuff to spread the WORD.

thats essentually how they run.

Ok, I checked it too, and it is awesome! Only thing is that I kind of miss the breaks between songs, I must have been 'programmed' too much by other stations

Thanks Alvin, I owe you one.
