I smell a story coming up . . .

Can't say I've been in such a situation, but if the words "legal obligation" have anything to do with it, I wouldn't be afraid to take legal action.

You've left a lot of scope here. It depends what the problem is. If your fellow works bring porn to work, then that's probably up to your boss to allow or not allow, and up to you to make a personal stand over. If they are smoking drugs, and the boss allows it, that is worse in one sense, although it again does not have to affect you directly. We should all expect to be 'different' in the workplace, because we should have a higher standard. Presenting this fact in a way that makes the Gospel attractive and not seem 'holier than thou' is our challenge, and one we should not shirk from.

On the other hand, if employees are breaking the law, you have no choice but to tell your employer, and if they chose to ignore it, I personally may take it beyond that, depending on what the problem was, and how it affected me.

Do they directly affect her, or just talk behind her back ? If she is not being harrassed, then I think it's a clash of Godly and worldly culture, which you're going to get everywhere. I work in programming, and one guy I work with only wants to talk about how much casual sex he gets. I find it better to discuss why God's way is better rather than to take the high moral ground and tell people they are going to hell. :-)

If the girl in question is affected then there is a legal problem for your employer. If not, then I'm not sure it's going to be different anywhere else, and all you can do is make your feelings known in the way that best reflects on your beliefs. Most people outside the church think of little more than eating and breeding, in my experience.
