CHRISTIAN COUPLE COME TO THE RESCUE OF FORMER SEX-SHOP OWNER By Michael Ireland PUTNEY, KY (ANS) -- A Christian couple from Ohio is helping a man who converted his sex toy shop to a Christian bookstore by delivering $80,000 worth of donated religious goods to the former sex store in Putney, Kentucky, according to an Associated Press (AP) story. Michael Braithwaite said sales are so slow he was able to stock his shelves only after receiving $80,000 worth of donated religious goods from the Ohio couple. According to the Associated Press (AP) report, Braithwaite said he had considered closing his fledgling store when unexpected help arrived from the Ohio couple who decided to help after reading about his religious conversion. The AP story said Ron and Phyllis Branstetter arrived last week with a van and rental truck filled with Bibles, books and other religious items. ``Praise the Lord. It's just heaven-sent,'' Braithwaite said as he carried boxes into the nearly empty store. The AP story reported that in October, Braithwaite said God persuaded him to close the shop, burn $10,000 worth of sex toys and open the bookstore. He dropped the old name, Love World, and now calls his store Mike's Place. Braithwaite said he hopes business will pick up now that he is fully stocked. ------------------ |

If you give in, than that means you don't think God will help you at all, showing a lack of faith. You have to obey God's commands and have faith that he will help you when you need him.
