OK!

Wow!

This is to form a thread were all of you who took offense, at my posting about music being discussed in the thread for Krylar's Dad. Here you can flame all you want.

If you want to judge the person go ahead. I judged the action, not the person. There is a difference. If I wanted to flame the one that changed the topic I would have, but I didn't and don't want to. In the later part of the post I did get a little hard on Christians as a group. IMHO we need it. We are to soft and whimpy. It seems that instead of standing to help the ones that need help, we turn the other cheek and let it all happen while wishing it would go away.

Let the flames burn bright......maybe I should be lashed to a pitch coverd post to light someones garden?

I don't remember that thread spiffy,

But yes, I agree. I often see Christians being wimpy.
I do judge actions, and when I do, i get ppl mad a me for attacking a person.
I try to be firm, but not malicious.
Being firm and telling them the truth is kind and loving.

NO, attacking a person is insulting him and using derogatory names for him.
Simple telling him that his actions are wrong and why according to scripture is not wrong

I often see tolerace where tolerance is not due.

To Spiffy,

I know by your post that you think Christians are whimpy. However, I have the oppinion that they are stronger than the average human. Evander Holyfield was naturally not heavy enough to be a heavyweight, but through persistance he put on the weight. Every sports journalist said that he couldn't compete at this level. He proved them all wrong!!!!
Having faith in God makes a person acheive more than he could on his own. Maybe the people you consider to be Christians seem whimpy, but if they were faced with a situation that was life or death they would become heroes.

She could still win the bobsleigh. Ask her if she wants to do it.

@ poet

Don't worry to much about the funnys.

The point I was trying to get across with whimpy isn't as much regarding physical strength, as much as, fortitude in expressing the faith and understanding we have. ( That's saying we have more than a milk toast understanding of our faith ) It seems as a whole Christians will back down before they have any real challenges to there belief system. I am not saying to grab the pagan and stand on there neck. I am saying, listen to there thoughts and give rational and understandable reasons for our own belief.

I don't think logic or statictics will win a pagan to Christ. I do however believe that evidence of a changed life ( for the better ) is very compelling indeed. When I worked in public retail, customers would come in and ask me if I were a Christian, without me having said anything about my faith. I think it was because JESUS was able to use me as an example some how. Don't ask me how, I don't know. Some of you have seen how abrasive I can be when I am trying to be nice!

My grammer and spelling isn't so hot either!
