Hiya,

So I was just wondering how you guys deal with sharing the Word of God with folks at work and such? Do you find it more difficult since the workplace is so touchy about things like religion?

I learned a good lesson from a friend whom I work with. He basically just demonstrates his beliefs by his actions and when people ask (as I did) how he keeps himself calm in some pretty grizzly situations, that's when he talks about his faith. Actually, it's through speaking with this person that I realized I'd been missing out on Christ.

That's about what I do too. I also will put some Christian items on my desk too. For a while, I had a wall paper of a drawing someone made. In the corner it said, "Faith like a Child." A man who was struggling with his faith was temporarily seated behind me for a day and saw that. He later wrote me a letter thanking me for having faith in God and putting that wallpaper up. Pretty cool!

(I also told the author of that wallpaper what happened and he was happy to. )

That's a good point. I have a pierced ear and I've been wearing a cross in it mostly. People look at it and then ask me if I'm a Christian. It's happened at least 5 times in the last 3 months. I guess I just never put two and two together.

It's amazing what God does to put you in a situation to talk about Him. I find more often than not people bring the topic up with me, rather than the other way around.

Just out of the blue, the most direct questions pop up from the most unexpeceted sources. Its really exciting whenever that happens, since I get to share the word, and I feel comfortable because I'm not ramming down peoples throats.

I just love the Lord for doing so much to help me out.
