I have been making a lot of progress on a game that I have had in my mind for a few years now, however I have hit a stumbling block. The game itself has amazing potential and it's not the programming or music side that will hinder the project, it's the artwork. It seems almost impossible to find a great christian 3D artist, who is both available and willing to work for little money (at this time in development). So I have been researching the freelancer market. I have found a forum with a lot of Freelance indie artists and have contacted a few and received quotes. I am aware that a few people here in the past have outsourced there artwork and would really like some advice. Any advice would be welcome, before I take the plunge and open my wallet. ------------------ |

You should PM Mack. We use freelancers all the time and he's their contact in XrucifiX so he knows all the costs, etc. |

Ok will do. I'll try and write an article about my experiences in this area. Hopefully it will be helpful for other people. ------------------ |

Also, you may want to check with the Rebel Planet guys. I have recommended some of my artist friends to them in the past, and I think some of them have panned out. Some of them may be available for more work. If you don't hear anything back from them, lemme' know and I'll dig up his contact info again. --clint |

I HAD the same trouble finding artists, but I just did it myself, I'd rather pay somebody else if I had the money, but at my age, I don't have much to offer. ------------------ |
