I've been using a tool called Easytoon lately. its a frame-by-frame, black and white animation tool. i've done a couple animations. check them out:

This is my first full-body animation, so i think its pretty good for having to redraw almost every frame (copy-pasted some of them)

Here's one of two guys fighting...

And here's a loop of some blob thing.

This is a pretty good tool when you get the hang of it, i recommend trying it. just google easytoon and you should find a download.

no, they don't have a color version. all easytoons are b/w. but i guess you could load them into like GIMP or something and give them color if you really wanted to.

RM, i can't afford flash...

stealing software is theft end of. If you can't afford software that you need try an open source alternative. It helps them too, more users means more development means better products.

um... about KToon, it doesn't work unless you have Linux installed on the pc. even if you use the cd. it needs linux to run.

That gives me an idea! *Drives off in Arch's 09 Camaro.* I'm just borrowing it, hope you don't mind, Arch?

And I think I'll borrow a couple of these cars' stereos, and maybe a few hubcaps, radios, that DVD player, heck, why not this purse - I'm just borrowing it...

But if you use the cd, you don't need to install Linux.

EVEN IF YOU USE THE CD, you still have to have linux. it depends on some software that comes with linux, so you don't have to install Ktoon, but you do need linux. trust me, i tried.

Good thing salvation is not borrowed.

Another reason for getting as far away from any semblence of pirating is that it puts you in a position to receive blessings from God...which you will absolutely need if you are making a video game that glorifies the Lord. There are huge trials to overcome, and the developer of a Christian video game will eventually come to the point of relying whole-heartedly on God. (God even allows it this way, putting us through trials for the working out of our salvation.) If the person is pirating software, or seeing how close they can get to pirating without actually doing it, God cannot be a part of that. The person ends up defeating himself before he's even set out to do anything. (Or, by the grace of God, the developer's first trial is learning not to pirate.)

Being "holy" simply means "set apart." Set apart from the world or Set apart for God. The set-apartness should be readily apparent, so that the person is a witness without even having to say a word. In the case of pirating, a Christian developer needs to get as far away as possible from it.

Amen- after all if we are creative people shouldn't our first priority be our relationship with the Creator. and integrity is a big part of that. One if the biggest reasons I use open source is they are free - and I trust that with God's blessing I will be better then anyone pirating the most expensive commercial stuff.

And besides I think if them in the Act's they shared all things together model
