Alright, i understood how to use Irrlicht alright, however ogre is pretty hefty as far as even setting up a project is concerned. Im asking for help with XCode in particular so that its easier for me to understand exactly how things work. More or less, for now, i just want to know how to set up things so i can start a project from scratch in Ogre, if you get that. ------------------ |

i used Ogre but i use it with visual studio 8... i can help as much as i can but i don't know much about Mac or Mac IDEs. have you tried searching the ogre forums? they generally answer most questions or if you post then the MVPs will help you out |

I tried searching their tutorial wiki that has a section for getting a project started with ogre. I figured that if anyone had written a good way to use XCode with Ogre they would have written up a tutorial wiki on that page. ------------------ |

a LOT of the time people are just too lazy to write up a tutorial. i got about half of my problems solved from just checking out the forums and i've posted a few questions myself on there. generally they'll get back to you very quickly with an answer or a link to where you can find the answer. |
