The focus of this site is primarily programming in general though game development is a major aspect as many Christian game developers hang out here. Hey Magus! Sorry, I didn't take time to welcome you before when you first posted. Welcome to CCN! I think CCN is made up of fairly-like-minded individuals, with a lot of room for variance. Some professional video game development goes on here, but 90% of it is probably hobbyist-level-stuff. Unfortunately, the current state of the Christian video game industry is pretty slim-pickings. Most of the Christian game development houses are independent, meaning that many of the people involved in the projects work off of shared-profits, and won't get paid until it's all over -- that's currently the way my game projects are. When you say "contract only", does that mean you require paid-up-front-positions only? I'd love to be in on one of those, but those are fairly hard to come by. If that's what you're after, blessings to you on that, because it's usually not easy to find one of those. If you're really interested in hooking up with a Christian game development team, the Christian Game Developer's Conference might be a good place to hook up with a team like that -- the next one should be in July/August of '06.
