I've been scouting around the net trying to refresh my math memory, but I've got a messy collection.

So I was wondering if someone could tell me about some kind of resource that will cover from, let's say Pythagoras and up. This started when I saw that Sin Cos and Tan really helped with programming so I brought out my calculator and went into it, but I've completely forgot!

I reckon instead of refreshing, I should start learning pythagoras, trigonometry and other stuff again, but a friend said go for calculus as well, so I figure I might as well start taking in all of this, is there some docs online or even just text on a site that will take me from pythagoras up?

What would be ideal is if there was a programmers guide to maths, if there's nothing free online I'll resort to books, so I'd appreciate suggestions on math books for the programmer as well, although free and online is much more preferable!

I'll jot down some notes on trig for you over the weekend. Hopefully they will help.

I find this site quite useful to jog my memory. It does not really explain anything, but it lists just about every equation you may need plus conversion etc. Although there are some links to other sites which I have never tried?

Thanks for the suggestion Rhyolite, I'll tour the board in search for stuff I can use, I decided to use my messy collection and piece that together, I've taken a look at the hierarchy of maths and seen the order in which a school would teach you all that stuff so I'll read over in order.

I've got a lot of Trigonometry at home Rizu, but those notes will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

There are a number of video game sites that you can learn these types of things.

www.flipcode.com
www.gamedev.net
www.gamasutra.com

I remembered going through flipcode and of course gamedev but didn't really find it satisfactory.

Although I may look into gamasutra, I've collected a lot from geometry to calculus and have made a start, so I'm not looking any more, but thanks everyone.

That site was definately helpful Rhyolite, I've went back a few times and it certainly does jog the memory.
