The folks over at www.remakes.org are running a game making contest at the moment where every entry is guaranteed to win a prize. The minimum prize is a full version of Dark Basic (2d/3d programming language), posted anywhere in the world. Basic idea is that you have 2 months to complete a remake of any classic old game of your choosing, providing it hasn't already been done to death by others (they have a list on their site of what NOT to make). I love remaking these oldies so I'm going to do a remake of "Elevator Action" just for fun. Anyway, just thought someone might be interested, but even if you aren't, their website is an excellent site for downloading freeware remakes of all the classics. Enjoy. |

Very cool, thanks for the link, although I should be upset that you're going to cause me to waste so much time. I hope you finish Elevator Action, I poured a lot of money into that game when it was in the arcades..... |
