quote: For the most part God (where the best ideas come from), He leads me alot in the design work of the games I help work on. Sometimes I play another game and say "this would be cool if it was modified a bit to be like this". I used to be influenced quiet a bit by people, but that ran into too many problems.

+) What are the things that influence you in the design of the Christian game your working on? -----My studies of the bible influence me a great deal, finer details that are seemingly unimportant can bring out the greatest revelations and often more original concepts. I also find that the journey of my own life effects me. I believe if ur called by God, everything that influences u will influence ur calling. In a more practical sense im very visual so comic books, movies and eastern animation have large influence in the general "Feel" and style i put across. +) What do you feel should and shouldn't be in a Christian game? -----Well the obvious one is the tool of the devil, mobile phones. Any game promoting this soul sucking device is of the dark one... Seriously tho I think this is a hard question to answer, U don't want to show bad things but ultimatly ur battle is with the creator of sin, where do u draw the line? I believe it depends on your target audience. Also chocolate muffins are a big no no Ian out |

quote: Real life situations, and my own experiences. To some degree other peoples work, work that i admire etc. quote: Christians... nah, in all seriousness, i think extreme violence towards other humans. Sexual content and references. I think games should be realistic, i wouldn't mind drug taking, prostitutes etc as long as it doesn't involve the character you are playing. Just my 2 cents! --D-SIPL |
