It is the game I have in mind. If you go there you will get to read the same stuff as below but there is a big illistration there now of what I have in mind as well. Couldnt put it here the thing is about 600X500. Anyways if anyone wants to help out on this programing wise it would be nice.

Oh yes I called it "Shinkou Cadets" The first part is Japanese for Faith, Creed, or religius Faith. It means alot of things in one word like most Japanese does. ^_^

So this is my idea. We would have everyone as Christians. They use the power of God by there faith. The idea is that the characters are in training. So they don’t get killed but instead get knocked out. If you are knocked out to many times then you lose. We could even make it to where the players can keep fighting over and over. The world maps could be small and big. This would give people the chance to pick what they want to play and how they want to play it.

During the game there should be a lot of items that one can pick up. They would be scriptures! The reason being that threw the reading and hearing of the word comes faith =) So the more they read and the more they can find the better there player will be. We would obviously need the ability to play over the net. I was thinking of releasing the full version onto the net with a little post ad in the game every now and then to buy the game. Other then that it would be a full game. I already have some stuff done as you can see but still need to do a lot more art for the game. E-Mail me if you want to help out on this.

Covering game concept in more detail. Well we have the main game and how it is played. What exactly needs to be in the game is more the question for someone doing programming. Such as when this happens exactly how it happens to what conclusion will it achieve? So lets get right down too it.

The beginning of the game. When the game is started it would post up who created it and the Copy Rights. This would be done by fading pix in and out. The logos would be posted and then the game would fade into a screen with options for the game.

The Main screen would have Options, Play Game, Exit, and credits.

Now Play Game would take you into another menu. This menu would show yet another list of options, Join Game, and Host Game. When going into Join game the player simply has to put in the IP that they want to join too and pic what they wish to look like in the game. When selecting host the player then must set up other options. The options would be Select Stage(s), Select Character, Select # Of Players, select stile of game… this would include continues and set # of KOs. When playing continues the only way to get out of the game would be to start a new level. Then when playing with a set # after that # is finished then the game switches to another stage.

Now when the player goes into Select Stage(s) this will change how the game is played as well. One stage at least must be selected. If the player pics more then one to have then when playing in a set # of KOs the game will switch between the selected stages. There should also be a small pitcher of what the stage looks like.

When selecting a character the player will be given a list of what the characters look like and will be abele to select witch they wish to look like.

I’m also hoping to have an option in the game to let creatures be in it. They would be evil spirits or pozesed beast. The idea would be that at times a evil creature would interrupt the players in there training and they could get rid of it. If so they would get an item off of the villain. There would need to be different rates at witch they come in and how tuff they will be. This would need to be a difficulty setting of some sort.

Anyways in The Main Screen there will be an Options menu. This will let the player pic what resolution they wish to use and change how loud things are or if sound is even played at all.

Oy that’s about all I can get out of my head that I’m planning at the moment. If only my idea rat was on the phone with me right now. He could get all this stuff out the right way.

Love the graphics and sounds like a fun game.

Just a question, what would you be like in converting your 2D players into isometric ones?

You may wish to have the playing area in isometric view like most RTS games, that way the playing area is greater.

Well Phil said what I wanted would be eazy to do So we are now working on that too :P Anyways that means as soon as I can figure out exactly how all the art needs to be done the programing can be done and then its "HAPPY DAY" for me Then I can get some friends in there and have some fun!
