Hay there peeps. I was just thinking what all skills do we have around here. I know Krylar runs this place had makes for a really cool web designer. Wish I could do some of this stuff. Then I know MeanManInOz who seems to have a nack to get everyone in an uprore :P Lots of Love man! Then lets see I know Phil is a kicken Programmer. Then there is Veri who has alot of ideas... but other then that everyone is a mistery to me. Just out of cureosity who all here would like to work on a Multi-Player-RPG that is sorta like zelda in a sence but has a lot, lot, lot more to it? Veri and I are working out the ideas on it right now. Dont think for a momment that we have droped our other project. We have Phil messing with its programing right now =) He is so helpfull! Hmmm what else was I going to talk about... I got stuck on an anime ponder and then went into nustalgia?¿ Baaa oh well ^_^ Ill just post this and see who all is awake tonight at 12 in the morning. Heya, I don't belong to a specific religion, per se, so I quess I'd be considered non-denominational. I had a rough time growing up with conflicting religious sides. To make matters worse I went to a private school that was a different religion than mine and I was told that I was going to hell because of it...by teachers. Thats just to bad... I know how you feel. I myself am probly the same way. There is one catch however. I do not bilive that the Church (As in the building with people in it) Is where I have to go for my gathering of the brethern. I spend more of my time doing Bible studys with my wife then anything  Then there are some pasters that we see from time to time. They are more friends then anything. Were two or more are gatherd as the Good Book Says Anyways thanks for answering. Ops almost forgot to answer me own qustion. I am ani-religin in a sence. I do not suport any of them nore do I care to get into there stiles of life. I folow what Paul said about Pure Religin. I was wandering do you need any art done for any of this stuff. I used to do art for web pages all the time. I wouldnt mind doing it for free. Others I charge $50 an hour and yes I do get work :P Just let me know. Gif Animations, side bar art, art that connects from the left side to the top or any other way whatever ya are looking for. Maybe a cute little kid for a side time logo =) |

Krylar I gots a qustion for ya. That there Blitzcoder what all can you do with it? I mean lets say could it make a game that is 2D and has platforms and you jump from platform to platform. Can it do networking things like TCP/IP and can it hook up alot of people so they can all jump around and shoot at eachother on the game? Could it make o lets say creatures apear that you have to splat? Just wandering. I asked Viri about it but he said he only looked at it.
EDIT HAHAHAHA: So there it is for you, 5 examples as to why I do not say that Christians have a monopoly on being nice. The reason being obvious that im not all that nice all the time and im a Christian. As for you people that are not Christians I know some of you that have been nice from time to time.... The long and the short of it is that we all need Christ in our lives and we all need to give our lives away to Him. Every day we have to give it away. Heya, I'll let you know on the art stuff. Have actually had a few offers as of late on that Cool, eh? (That, by the way, is "Krylar".) As for the Blitz Basic stuff: Yes, you can write basically anything you want with it. It's not a cheapo click-n-play system. It's an actual language, and it's FAST. In a nutshell, it makes it so all you have to do is learn Basic, Blitz's extra commands, and then get into game theory. If you go the C route, it's learn C really well, learn DirectX/OpenGL really well, then learn game theory. I would say you'll save about a year by going to with Blitz. But it depends on your goals. If you want to be a full-fledged game developer looking for industry work, go the C route. If you're just interested in doing your own projects, Blitz is the better way to go. Also, note that Blitz3D is due out this winter and it's going to ROCK! *And* they're working on BlitzPro too, which will allow you to write your own C/C++/other language DLL and Libraries that Blitz can call on from its code! Krylar I was wandering who do you go threw for a Server? Do you have your own or is this whole page and all off of someone else? The reson for asking is cuz I was wandering if they have a good polise. Some other places think that whatever you put on there server should be owned by them out right. Kinda makes it hard to post art and other things up. I was going to open up an image gallary for people to use for free. I have about 1000 diffrent drawings I have done and I dont mind people useing them for backgrounds and stuff. Anyways just wandering. ------------------ |

Is it just me or have things slown down a bit here? I guess I got used to all the heated discutions going on. Hay I got something that might cheer you ppl up. I had a bad dream. At first I was like this superman guy stuck with 4 kids and I was trying to get rid of them. They didnt talk they just staired at you... then I turend into a giant slug! I and alot of bigger slugs where going across the top of the sea. They said it was a good idea to stick in groops. I told them it makes us a bigger target and im leaving. So then for some odd reson I turend into a wail. Then for the rest of the dream I was pestering other wails. Anyone here have odd dreams like this? Im so used to nightmares all the time so this sorta thing kinda makes me wander :P ------------------ |

Grrr OK... breath I think maybe now I got it... didnt know I needed that IMG thing maybe if I do it litruly in here... YES it worked! Cool now I can use my own little anime. Krylar if this stuff is taking up to much let me know. They are just little animations that take up about 4K. Or so it tells me. Anyways I have a web page up now that im putting some demo stuff on. I gatta Idea... "were doomed" Oh no I lost it. You know haveing Rug Rats running in the background with kids talking dosnt really help for a train of thought. Anyways I was thinking what if we had a net Bible study tipe thing. Like have a small pole once a week that would disided the subject of the next weeks study. The gole would be that everyone would study there Bible try to find as many things about the subject they can, and what they got out of it. Just a little idea |

Yes I did them all myself this morning. In all it took me about 4 hours to finnish them all. I make them in the Paint program that comes with Windows. Then I put them all into a gif compresser. I'll be makeing more... I just got tired and went to bed thats all. If your wandering how I did all that detail as someone else just asked me, I do this for a liveing at times. I charge $50 an hour. I do my own stile as well so getting things that I draw are kinda hard to pull off. Anyways I am going to make some grumpyer ones here in a bit. Also if you do diside you want to use them let me know. I would like to take them off of Angelfire and put them somewhere a bit more convenyent. For now im off... |

Ok, It took most of my waking hours to get this done.. I feel like an old man now...  but I now have 22 diffrent Animated Icons. If anyone has some request or ideas please post them so I can get yall what ya want. Im not offering to do stuff that would take me all day to figure out...  but if you want a surten color of hair-hair stile-shirt color-eye color- Something like that I will see what I can do. Also diffrent faces to exsprass diffrent moods would be something to give me. No more then 3 diffrent moods/faces ok. More then that and I will have to draw to many pix and then the anime would take to long to load.  So im sure by now ya have the idea. Oh yes if your idea wont work I will post why and let you know that I cant do it. Also if your idea is way to big then I will let you know in this page too.  Well im feeling a little blue now. No one is online and im out of things to do. Dang why cant people be up at 12am and into the wee hours of the morn.  Yes I can and do alot. I work with Photoshop everynow and then... but I only have a demo. Need the real one badly.... Anyways doing bodys makes it more intersting however. ^_^ just takes more time thats all. Sometimes getting a body onto some pix is to much of a head ake to bother. Like when working with only a 10 pixuls tall drawing. Other then that ive done things for T-shirts and CDs. When doing that I have to do the pic 3 or even 4 times as larg as it will be on a shirt. That means I do them normle in 3000 X 3000 Pix. They sometime take as much as 80MB or more. There is alot the goes into the bigger ones. I have to go for now... sick =( Tummy ake and pains. |

Hi Angel, sorry about the stomachache. I was wondering if you could possibly make a little 64x64 pic for me. Gif format is fine, I just don't want an animated gif. I want a bald eagle in it's nest with it's wings spread over it's little chicks. If that's way too much a simple bald eagle in flight would be fine. I obviously understand if you can't do it, you were just asking for requests so I gave you one. I'm not half as good as you are at drawing stuff from scratch. †Caleb† |

Um... Ive never exactly drawn an eagle befor. Might be a good idea to get a pic of one then shrink it down. That would probly be alot better then the mess I would probly make. I work alot with fantisy ideas and what not. Im thinking that you want a real looking eagle and I dont think I could pull that off. Sorry if im not being of much help =) |

Im sure everyone remmbers this little guy from other stuff on this posting. Well I have taken him past just the bland stage of being a bald little kid. I now have 4 diffrent base bodys. One is the same kid but with shorts. Then I have made two girls one in pants and the other in a dress. I dont know if I posted this or not but im looking for someone who could do some rather simple 2D programing stuff for a little platform game. The little character you would see and alot of others would be animated like that. Then they would jump up and down on some big maps and shoot at eachother, pick up items, and other stuff like hideing behind trees and waiting to ambush someone. Then it would need to be abile to be played over the net TCP/IP. Im doing this as just a little hobby on the side of what im working on with my team. What can I say I have way to much time on my hands. Anyways ^_^ I wanted to also let it run a little add thing all the time. Just small text like at the bottom or something that would cover the Bible. You know post scripturs and what not =) I pritty sure I can provide all the art all I need is someone who can do the programing. You peeps let me know if your intersted in messing with the idea. ok, let me start off by saying that a multiplayer rpg is something that must be dealt with very carefully, because even if it is proclaiming the word of God, people can still get addicted to it like so many others out there have gotten so many people i know addicted, and that's not what the Lord wants for us, He wants us to go into all the world and proclaim the gospel, and it's hard to do that when you're stuck at home trying to beat this really hard boss on an rpg, it is an excellent idea, but one that would really need the hand of God upon in order for it to get the desired effect, just givin' my two cents, talk to you people later, bye. I caught this discussion about the blitz 3D engine comming up. I would like to see this in action. I use the Acknex4 engine and the two sound very similar. Im not a programmer but I have learned the scripting language for the engine pretty well. You could wait for Blitz or you could just try out the A-5 engine and get all of the features and the sdk which allows you to write in C++ and in delphi. Its very cheap for what you get. GS out. |
