The September 2007 issue of the St. Louis Amigan, “Light in the Darkness”, has been uploaded and is immediately available for download. Remember, it is a tri-fold design, designed for US-Letter sized paper to be printed from an auto-duplexing printer (preferably color), flipping the paper on the short edge.

Never Forget to Pray!

"...prayer itself is an art which only the Holy Ghost can teach us. He is the giver of all prayer. Pray for prayer---pray till you can pray; pray to be helped to pray, and give not up praying because you cannot pray, for it is when you think you cannot pray that you are most praying. Sometimes when you have no sort of comfort in your supplications, it is then that your heart---all broken and cast down---is really wrestling and truly prevailing with the Most High."
Charles Haddon Spurgeon, from the pamphlet, "Effective Prayer"

The St. Louis (check your spelling, please ) Amigan is a monthly newsletter that I have been doing for some years now. It is freely available on my web site as a PDF file (back issues are in the back issues directory). Although I do reserve the right to write on other matters on occasion, it is mainly a devotional newsletter. The name derives from three sources: (1) My city of residence; (2) The computer I used to use (and which I wish I still could use); and (3) the feminine form of the Spanish word for “friend” (While an enemy will let you slide into eternity without knowing the LORD or ever taking any corrective action upon you for your own sake, a friend loves you enough to speak the Truth into your life).
