I've got a job interview tomorrow with a programming company. I really need to find a new job as my current one is filled with long/bad hours and it seems the only way to get ahead is to take the boss out every weekend for drinks.

Thanks,
Jeremy

thanks for the prayer! it was a good interview, lasted about 2.5 hours... i had to showcase some of my stuff, answer general questions as well as specific programming questions and i did 4 essays for them. Crazy stuff.

They said out of the 13 people interviewed me and 1 other guy have made the cut and I will find out next wednesday if i get the job, a 2nd interview, or don't get the job.

It seems like a really cool company and really nice people - which would be a blessed change from where I am now.

I was expecting a call today (Wednesday, April 11th) so I was surprised yesterday when the company called me around 2:30pm. They asked me to come in before 5:30pm but I was already at work and scheduled until 10pm. So, I have a 2nd interview scheduled tomorrow (Thursday, April 12th) at 4pm.

Thank you all for praying for me and this opportunity.

That's great man. I wish you the best. I don't pray, but the thought is there

thought I'd piggy-back off Mastallama's topic...

I have an interview for an internship at NASA tomorrow, so prayers for that would be appreciated.

honestly, it's about use of sensors to measure an aircraft's structural integrity.

so... it looks like I got it. (unofficially).

so I'm excited. they're pretty much gonna let me and this other college intern go with these sensors and see what we can do.

Wow arch, just wow. I'm impressed about getting a job with NASA, but the subject is just, odd?
