sure. yes, i dont want to go all the way and then have you say "its not what we're looking for" haha. im thinking you'll need a main page, another page (or series of pages) listing the various members and what their names are on CCN, and a button to launch the IRC, right? its not an overly-huge site, just a launch-pad and directory of names. idk about having any JSP. i think alot of people's browsers will be configured to ignore or block it. Running programs as soon as a person enters a page isnt exactly user-friendly. maybe when they click a "launch" button or something. ------------------ |

ill admit that command line can be faster (to use) because all you have to do is type, and If you cant type +70 words/minute, you're all set. But, without the advent of GUI, computers would have never gotten big. I think this is one of the reasons we should appreciate Microsoft. Windows really introduced the concept of pure graphical. This helped computers become more mainstream, because your granmda and your teacher werent afraid of them anymore. Im sure to some of you, this is a bad thing. Yes I am still working on it. I´m in a pickle trying to get it to send and receive without having to send a blank message everytime in order to receive. Also by the looks of a multithreading library I plan to use, it will be have to be GUI. ------------------ |
