I see a section for web development articles but none for Web development code or web development Discussion. I'm about to start writing a site for my church in ASP.Net. I'll post the code I create here if you have a spot to put it and discuss it.

My current intent is to use VB.net withen the IBUYSPY portal. This seems to be the most widely supported portal base. and many parts have already been developed with the source available at ASP.Net.

I'm about to start writing a site for my church in ASP.Net.

Is this your first website? If it is I would strongly recommend sticking to html. A basic website is better than no website at all. Then you can conquer the advanced designs.

Thanks what you have said is good advice but I've been doing Internet and intranet development for over 10 years.
I was very disappointed with the amount of christian related code available for download. Almost every church today wants a web site. It should be as easy as selecting which precoded mods to stick together change some colors and it's Done. That's what we do in secular development and the amount of public available code is huge. But for some reason I have been unable to track down a Christian Code Share.
I determined I was going to start posting my code somewhere in a public forum so maybe others can benifit. I thought ChristianCoders.Com would be a cool domain name for a site where I could start a Christian Code Share Site. I came here expecting a For sale sign from some squatter only to find a excellent site that was exactly what I was looking for just focused more on gaming then Websites.

Sorry for the poor advice, I didn't realise you had that much experience in web design. You are right that this is a great site
