hey, i just got a membership to ACM (acm.org) and i get free access to online courses and books247 (free online books). i'm a bit overwhelmed here, lol. any ideas of where i should start? right now i'm reading cryptography in c and c++ and game coding complete |

I recently finished reading A Theory of Fun for Game Designers by Raph Koster, and it was an absolutely fabulous read. I definitely recommend it. It was light-hearted enough that it's easy to pick up and put down as a casual reader or bathroom book -- very good stuff. The cartoons on every opposing page in the book are hilarious as well -- there are tons of them in the book. |
