Welcome all to my classic game reveiws. Now the reason I'm doing reveiws for classic games is to give ya'll a little taste of yesteryear.time to get started.

Today,I'm gonna do 2 reviews. The first one is a game known to all. Its the game that started Mario's Popularity....Super Mario Bros.

Name: Super Mario Bros.
Company: Nintendo
Release Date: ??/??/85.

The Evil King Bowser Koopa has kidnapped the lovely Princess Peach Toadstool and her Mushroom Servants. It's Up to The Mario Bros to save them.

The Game itself is mostly strait foward. It's your basic Run and Jump style of game. Beat Enemies by stomping on them, kicking a Turtle Shell into them,or by shooting fireballs at them. Beware some enemies cannot be stomped on or beaten with fireballs. Their are 8 levels each with 4 areas each. At the end of ?-4 you will battle King Koopa.

Originaly this game was only available for the NES,but due to its popularity it soon was remade for the SNES.

The Graphics were from good for an early NES game. The Sound was also good{for a game of it's time}.The Game Controlls were Good. The Music was both good and memorable. The Challange of this game is Normal[though it gets harder in later levels]. The FunFacter of this Game is pretty good. And the Replay Value is decent.

The Best Version of this game to buy is the SNES Version{aka the Super Mario all-stars version}.

I agree -- that one was extremely cool. I never owned an SNES, but I enjoyed every time I was able to play the All Stars game.

Next I'm gonna talk about the Game that Made RPG's popular in the States and possibly revolutionized RPG's...Final Fantasy 1.

Name: Final Fantasy.
Company: Square Soft.
Release Date: ??/??/90.

The Object of the game is simple, select a party of 4 by selecting one of 6 jobs.travel to towns to Buy Items,Magic[both black and white],Weapons and Armor or just rest at the Inn. You can also Ressurect a dead Ally at the Clinic.

Another thing that Makes Final Fantasy Final Fantasy is the Random Battles. Apon winning your party will earn EXP Points..Earn Enough and they will gain a Level. The Higher your parties Level, the Stronger your party will be. You can also run from most battles {the only 2 things that you can't run from are large groups of enemies and bosses}. There are Many Many Dangerous Dungeons with many Deadly Enemies. But those Dungeons will also have Usefull Items

The Goal is to restore the power of the Orbs by Killing the 4 Fiends, who are throwing the world into ruin. During your adventure you will be meet new people{who usually have useful info},explore dangerous places, and even get an Airship.

Originaly this game was only available on the NES,but due to its popularity it was remade for PS1 and GBA.

The Graphics and Sound were great [for a game of it's time].The Game Controlls were Great. The Music was good and Memorable. The Challange of this game was from Normal to Hard. The FunFacter of this Game is Very Good. And the Replay Value is Excellent..infact it's The Best Thing About This Game.

The Best Version of this game to buy is the Final Fantasy Origins Version for the PS1. though the Original NES version is a close second .

Well Thats it for now,I'll be back with another reveiw next time.

FF1 actually was the one game that saved Square from going under i guess they had a bunch of other games nobody liked and now look at them (putting aside the fact that they're now SquarEnix). Anyway, good game. Still own a copy of it.

That is why it is called Final Fantasy--it was going to be Hironobu Sakaguchi's (FF creator/Square president--er ex Square president) last game story--his final fantasy---

Interestingly, jump 6 ahead into the series to FF7---I read an interview with Tetsuya Nomura (who started on FF7 and is now the Final Fantasy head honcho) where he said that Sakaguchi's original script for 7 was so different from the final thing--you originally were supposed to play as a dude named 'Hot blooded detective Joe' and you would investigate a terrorist group----eventually, after Nomura and Yoshinori Kitase joined in the terrorist group became Avalanche and major story element changes happened that resulted in the FF7 we know and love.

Yeah but many people love GTA for the whole sandbox thing---not everyone is wanting to be a real life criminal---LOL the only times I played GTA with people we didn't even do the story line stuff--we did stupid stuff you can't do in real life like climb in a RV and roll it down the biggest mountain in the game---LMAO that thing was spinning so fast the game applied a blurr shader because it went so nuts--the game gave my friend 200 bucks for an insane stunt bonus!
