whatt he heck happened to the PS3 thread? It dissappeard heheheheh---I know this board has weird glitches but it seemed like some current topics got deleted and some really dead ones (like the Skillet interview I posted) got on the top active forums list on the main page without having new posts---strange.....

I told those hackers to just steal the important information, not delete stuff, not even if they notice PS3 threads.

It's those sinister Wii promoters holding something against a REAL console

I think you are on to something with that----evil posers who don't know what a real game is....seriously who the heck thinks Rayman Raving Rabbids was good? LOL I didn't see the point in that one bit.....

Its a new console with new technology. It takes like 5 years for the platform to become really stable but in the mean time you gotta have SOMETHING to show for it.

yeah----I will probably play Smash Bros on the Wii but most Wii games to me are kind of glorified tech demos---not a bad thing per se but I want more depth--and Smash Bros will hopefully have it despite its' lack of motion sensing support.

I had a game cube, and only three games out off all that I got were worth my time.
-Smash Brothers
-Metroid
-Bomber Man
Really, that's it. All the others I could enjoy a veration of it on any concul. I think I could even get a form of Bomber Man but oh well. Soul Calbar was ok for a bit.

If I look at just my PS2, I've enjoyed FF, Bombastic, raceing games, Wrath; and plenty of others. Now I have RFOM, Little Big World will be a must play for me. I may get into Ninja Guiden maybe again.

Anyhoot, each to their own. My wife just got a pink cover for her controler today for our PS3, so she's just giddy over that.

In defense of the Wii, Zelda was as amazing as its ever been. Rayman was one of the most out there games I've ever played (and that's a good thing), Smash Bros is all but guaranteed to be good, and, once developers finally get the system right, I'm going to have a hard time believing that a first person shooter could be more involving than on the Wii (Red Steel got close). Shooters with the WiiMote are much more intuitive for me than dual-sticks or the mouse.

Don't get me wrong, I mean to get a PS3 in the future (probably the distant future due to the price), but the Wii definitely has some things going for it.

Now, if only someone would integrate drivers for the WiiMote into a quality FPS on the PC. I would probably build a gaming PC for that (UT2007 or Star Wars + WiiMote = heaven).

Then again, I definitely like my 360, as well. Technology shouldn't drive games, but games should drive technology. Nintendo wanted to do something entirely different with gaming, so they made extensive use of motion sensing technology. Sony wanted to put out the the most technologically elaborate games, and created the hardware to match it.

I don't really see why I need to pick one to be a fanboy of since both, obviously, have their merits and I'm not a child that is unable to acquire them all. Since all of the systems have something good going for them, I have no complaints. Having the ability to get high tech gaming with the 360 and PS3 is nice, and having the ability to play games that are genuinely different is nice as well.

Sign me out of the line for drawing lines in the sand. I'll take, and enjoy, all of them.

Too true man----I owned all 3 at one point---but just because the PS3 is my only mainstay doesn't mean I will hurt someone else for playing other stuff--that is BS no matter how you cut it--I guess I am upset at Nintendo tho because I am not a Zelda fan and it felt like the Wii ignored people like me---I was royally ticked about Red Steel (which was the reason I bought a Wii at launch)---and Call of Duty 3 may have been nothing to write home about but it proved that FPSs can work on the Wii, just Red Steel was way undercooked---I will pick one up again for Smash Bros---hopefully that comes out soon!

With the GameCube--Smash Bros rocked on that--I like a survival horror game called Eternal Darkness Sanity's Requiem---very M rated game but still one of the best psychologial thrillers I have ever played.

BTW Angel: If you like Ninja Gaiden go the PS Store online--you can download the demo to NG Sigma free---it is AWESOME--plus, if you reserve it at GameStop, you can opt to reserve a special edition that at least comes with a bonus DVD and maybe other stuff too.

I still need to play Sanity's Requiem. Honestly, RE4 on the Wii is supposed to be amazing (even though it's largely a rerelease, it's gotten amazing reviews in Japan). CoD3 worked very well, but it was imperfect. I'm hoping Ubisoft gets its act together with Red Steel 2 (better system on online support would make it an exceptionally awesome game ).

Virtua Fighter 5 is the game that I most want on the PS3 that isn't available elsewhere so far.

I wish Sony and Nintendo would have taken a note from Xbox Live, and, in particular, Achievement Points. So addicting!

I'm pro-wii. I think its time to have a revolution. Let PCs handle the traditional games, I'm ready for a change. Especially if LA brings out a SW game for the Wii with Lightsabers.

Look up HOME on PS3---it will have achievements that are actually 3D trophies to show off to your friends So that feature is coming hehe----want to know something weird? I am a fighitng game fanatic but, for some reason, I could never get heavy into Virtua Fighter--it isn't bad, but I like other ones better. With Nintendo online, they still won't let developers work with online---like how Mortal Kombat Armageddon had to take their online out (which was present in all other versions) because they don't have acess to that part of the dev kit--hope Nintendo opens that up soon....

yeah I know, when I bought a Wii I tried to find it again--no such luck---they were supposed to make a movie of it but that never came through.
