Don't worry, your space will fill up. I used to be shocked with all my extra space, and now I'm gettin' nervous, and trying to be conservative. That is a nice disk though.

i've got a 80gb hard drive and i only use maybe 20gb, 30gb tops, and that's only because of my wife's music, and all of my apps(installers too) and games(installers too). unless you've got way too much music, you edit videos(or rip dvd's), or use your copmuter professionally for something i don't really see how someone could fill 160gbs. unless you never do any maintenance. then again, i usually uninstall stuff i don't use all the time. i'd like to get a 15k rpm scsi drive and adapter card...that's some serious speed...anyway...

160GB? Wow! It will fill up pretty fast, I have 870 Gig on my primary development system and its about 75% full, I am looking at adding a 500 -750 GB sata just to make sure I don't fill up. Lots of big pictures from the 17.1 camera and large sound files take up lots of space! BTW never had and luck with Mandrake just didn't like how it loaded up on my system.

i don't have lot's of pictures but the very idea of having 100gb+ free space is annoying me i'm starting to fill it up intentionaly with softwares and stuff.
