Best open source games – firemaker103

My two favorite games: Glest: A takeoff of AOE, I'd go as so far to say better. A decent sized modding community too. Battle for Wesnoth: An excellent turn-based stategy game. Honorable Metion Neverball A cute little puzzle/minigolf game. Better with all user made levels. Gusanos -- Open-source clone of an old game called "Liero". Can be thought of as a real-time version of Worms, or a 2d version of Quake. Direct a little worm with bazookas and ninja ropes in a networked deathmatch with your friends. Freedroid RPG -- Play as Tux in a Diablo-esque adventure to fight evil robots. Bible Dave -- Of course.

Here are my favorites that no one has mentioned yet: NetPanzer -- Fast-action multiplayer strategic network game BZ Flag -- 3D tank combat simulator game WarZone2100 -- Warzone 2100, the 3D real-time strategy game (I haven't played it much but it looks promising. It's kinda like an OSS version of C&C Generals) SolarWolf -- A python/pygame remake of SolarFox, it's an arcade game that is pretty adicting.
