Hi all, I just got Linux. SuSE Pro 9.3 It is great! I installed the KDevelop straight from the disk. I looked under the development tab and I couldn't find the IDE. I found 2 more tabs under Development. I found: Project Management. And Revision control. Under project management I found KUIViewer and Umbrello. I also went under Revision control I found Cervisia and Kompare. Where is the IDE? ------------------ |

IDE is Integrated development environment, that's what the KDevelop is... If I understand you are looking the link that launches KDevelop? It's under more apps -> development tools -> IDEs in mandrake. But you can launch KDevelop by typing KDevelop in the console. ------------------ Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the LORD keeps the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. - Psalms 127:1 |

was it pre-installed? Sometimes you have to type kdevelop3 in the console, depends what it was installed under. When it's loaded you have to click projects and then new project, which will take you through the configuration of your project and things like version control etc. YAST should tell you everything you need to know about where it installed it. --D-SIPL ------------------
