here is a song, that the band just recorded and mixed at home, man i love cubase SX, just wanting some feedback from people.. please don't distribute as this is unmastered - first mix , actually only just learning how to use the software, and the final mix ,mastered will likely be on the album

anyway have a listen

if anybody else is interested in the other songs, the album mercy is online and freely distributable as long as teh comments in the mp3's aren't altered at

when i finish the church web site.. i'll likely make a nice flash website on my forgiven.us site so it can have a real home..

Just listening to it right now, over-well the song is very good, the "power part" (my faith can...) near the middle needs more emotion and power wrapped up into it, although that could be just me (I listen to alot of Christian metalcore/holy metal) I think that a proclomation that "my Faith in God can move a mountain" should be more declared. The instrumentals are very very good, I'll for sure check out the others. Bring on the Christian metal!

I set net vampire to download them all. On my way out the door to supper. Got friends from Jerusalem visiting for the next 2-3 weeks so will not have a lot of time, but will try to give these a listen sometime this weekend and pop on long enough to give you some feedback. Look forward to hearing them.

finally got a chance to listen to these. I listened to all of them, They are all good, although a little too heavy for me, but I have to say "Changes" is my fave. I absolutely love it Great lyrics and great music.

It's been a long while since I listened to any Christian metal but I do have to say that I really like what I heard - in fact I'm thinking of burning a CD to listen too - if that's okay that is
I think I've mellowed out a bit in my *cough*old*cough* age heheheh

sure, you can burn the whole album we are currently distributing it free
howver just not the faithmp3.mp3.. don't distribute that one
as thats for a new album and will be rerecorded, remixed and mastered as well as other songs before that new album will be released.

Hey,
The faithmp3 song is good. Haven't had a chance to download the others with my slow connection yet. Am I mistaken or is that a didje in the background? My thoughts are that the crash cymbals should be 'brighter' (have a higher range) and the snare have a little more fullness (it sounds a little wimpy imho). Another thought is that during the "power part" you could put an effect on his voice.

Anyway, I do like the song, especially the guitars.

Thanks klumsy. I'll only burn the free album stuff.

did you do the mixing/mastering? is this something you do as a career or what? just wondering; i did some sound work several years ago (and currently operate thigns at church every so often). fond memories of those days heheh
